Hi All,
i have done an extensive search with regards to people around the world and to my amazement, there are actually millions who are actually having problems viewing websites with Internet Explorer 8.
Microsoft is claiming that its the new web standard that it disable some of the standard compliant on web programming that browsers such as Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera and Google Chrome supports.
Please see the official IE8 blog where the developers and users submit their bugs report, complaints, views and debate -

Here is another blog -
blog.highspeedweb.net/2009/06/02/interne...ompatibility-issues/
Websites like Google.com, Yahoo.com.sg, Yahoo.com and MSN.com.cn are also having compatibility issues. So when you surf with IE8, i doubt that you be seeing the correct thing even if you switch to its "Compabitility View" as they as higlighted in the official blogs made some exceptions to support legacy mode in "Compatibility View" mode.
When on IE8 and you see a website display menus and content all over the place in odd manner or you are seeing a blank content despite the page is fully loaded, you might want to compare viewing that website with another browser. You can quickly download and install one here -

So till further codes are being released and confirm, i do not see anything settling down.
cheers !
